Hi there. I've managed to successfully install ACP, and everything is working perfectly... one question, though:

How do you disable the hover color so that the background doesn't change in the announcement area?

I'm using CarbonCopy. It appears to be a variation of proSilver.

class="bg3"

and delete it

works great on 3.0.1
for anyone reading
on sql query first off needed to edit the phpbb_ to phpbb3_ but this is all dependent on what you have your tables labeled at...
on root folder to upload you must upload the style folder correctly as if you dont use the standard themes it will not have the images or html it needs also you must edit these according to your style you are using
make sure you read the instructions on bottom as well very important

i take it you have your reasons why you are still on 3.0.1 as i would always recommend to use the latest phpbb version.

yeah my board has been basically rebuilt since beta release and phpbb.com didnt start keeping a complete log of their edits/updates till 3.0.3 so there is no way to update it unless you compare every line of every page to make the changes as with any heavily changed board their auto system will not update properly without you losing your past work so i must go through each update by hand pull out the fixes to bugs i see and patch myself thus my board will always say 3.0.1 unless i edit it in database

still cant believe not a single person on that team didnt think to document ALL changes till they hit 3.0.3 lmao oh well

hi,
are you using one of the default styles?
did you purge cache, refresh template styles?
the mod is turned on in the acp?

all of the changed files are uploaded?

thats just a couple of things that come to mind... ;)

that says that the table already exists and hte sql must have been done before.
what is it you were trying to do, e.g. upgrading from which version to what version, new installation????

Hello,
New installation. I did run the SQL the first time and it ran successfully. But when I run it a second time I get the above error. I ran the SQL again because I do not see the ACP Announcement Centre in the drop down menu, after I create it. I also cannot edit the overall_header.html and add your code.
I followed your instructions at the end of the install but for some reason I cannot add the module after creating it.
Thanks for your help.

at this point, please upgrade to version 1.2.0 as this version just got validated by the phpbb mods team.

with that version there is an install file. it will create tables/fields where necessary and also create the modules.

as version 1.2.0 has now been approved, i am locking this topic.

if you still have problems, please post in the topic of the new version.
THanks for your understanding
