hi, did you edit the correct style, upload the files and refresh your template via the acp?

have you tried it on one of the default styles to see that it works?

Hi,

I used to have the mod on my portal but now I updated it to the last version the mod won't show up anymore.

The portal mod is Board3 Portal: http://www.board3.de

The top poster mod is supposed to be in the "Top Posteurs" block on the left on my portal at http://www.psu-odyssey.com/forum/. I used to display the last top posters for the past month (or 720h). Now it's gone and I don't understand why...

Well the problem is not the block, it' what is displayed under "Les 30 derniers jours".

What is after "Tous les temps" is not from your mod, it's from the portal as you can see in the html code of the block.

Code: Select all
<td height="100%" colspan="2">         <strong>Tous les temps</strong><br style="clear:both" />
         <!-- BEGIN top_poster -->
<img src="http://www.psu-odyssey.com/forum/styles/serenity/theme/images/opt.gif" width="10" height="7" />{top_poster.USERNAME_FULL}
         <span style="float:right;padding-right:9px; padding-top:0px;"><a href="{top_poster.S_SEARCH_ACTION}">{top_poster.POSTER_POSTS}</a></span><br style="clear:both" />
         <!-- END top_poster --></td>
        </tr>
        <tr>
          <td width="0%" height="100%"><strong>Les 30 derniers jours</strong>
<!-- IF TOP_POSTERS_HOURS_LIST -->   {TOP_POSTERS_HOURS_LIST}<!-- ENDIF --></td>
          <td width="0%"><!-- IF TOP_POSTERS_HOURS_LIST -->   <span style="float:right;padding-right:9px; padding-top:0px;">{TOP_POSTERS_HOURS_LIST2}</span>
<!-- ENDIF --></td>

I made a modification so I can get a result in 2 columns (name and in front the messages), but that's not the reason of the problem since I get the same result without my modification .

This may be a dumb question but what are the files that need to be edited. I have uploaded the includes/functions_topposters.php and performed the sql query. In the install.xml file I see there is code listed but I do not know where to add this other code. I am trying this on a demo board I am hosting using phpbb 3.0.8

Right click the install.xml file in the unzipped folder >choose to open with your browser ( hope it's firefox ! )
The instructions will be easy to do. Back up copies of the files first !! :goodideasign:

Found the problem, for some odd reason the file was not displaying correctly in ie9. I used firefox and comes up fine. Thanks for the help.
